Inter has made light work of their Serie A rivals this season, securing the title with an impressive record of 27 wins, 5 draws, and just 1 defeat.
Simone Inzaghi’s Inter Milan side has been consistently impressive this season in the Italian top flight, which has seen them being crowned Champions with 5 matches to spare after a dramatic 2-1 win against crosstown rivals AC Milan.
This has been equally due to their defense as it is to their attack, with an outstanding record of 18 goals conceded and 79 scored. Lautaro Martinez has been the division’s top performer with an incredible 23 goals.
This was a historic 20th Scudetto for the Italian giants. Speaking after the match, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi expressed his excitement to share this ‘beautiful achievement’ and the celebrations with the fans and everybody who is part of the club.
“These people, the passion of the fans. I see 3 years with 6 trophies and a Champions League final: it was difficult to imagine it like this,” he said.
“Thanks to the boys. We have the mathematics in a derby at Milan’s home: it’s something that will remain this way. It wasn’t easy for them to play psychologically and they gave everything until the end, they were very valid opponents in these three years and will be so in the coming years too.”

“We wanted to win it tonight. I thought someone would say something this morning about training in the rain, but nobody did. We worked this morning on details that were very important, such as the positioning.”
