SuperSport United head coach Gavin Hunt believes his side should have been awarded a penalty for a foul on Bradley Grobler in the first-half as his side played to an entertaining 1-1 draw against  Mamelodi Sundowns on Tuesday night.
Grobler equalised for SuperSport in the 37th minute after Tebogo Mokoena had given Sundowns the lead three minutes earlier.
Grobler did not return for the second-half as he was nursing an injury sustained during the tackle from behind incident.
“He had done his shoulder, it was a tackle from behind, it’s a penalty, yeah, he had done his shoulder. It is what it is and hopefully I will see how it is and we will take it from there, all good,” Hunt told SuperSport TV.
The draw was SuperSport’s fourth in consecutive fashion, leaving them just 12 points off the pace in the log.
Hunt also praised the club’s young players, who were promoted from the Dstv Diski Challenge team.
“Fantastic, I mean kids, Under 19, seven, eight of them will be good for the future but they’re fantastic and just the people on the bench. We bringing on three Diski players, look who they bring on (chuckles).”
“But fantastic performance, i thought we could’ve won it, we had a couple of good breakouts, the youngster at the end, was he offside? I don’t know, Penalty on Bradley definitely a penalty, don’t get it.
“But you look at their squad, size, fantastic club. But I thought we were great tonight. Everybody did a job what more can I say,” Hunt added.
