Orlando Pirates have confirmed the arrivals of defender Thabiso Lebitso and midfielder Thalente Mbatha.

Lebitso and Mbatha signed for Pirates from Chippa United and SuperSport United, respectively.

“Joining Orlando Pirates is a significant milestone in my career, and I’m eager to make a meaningful contribution to the team’s success,” said Lebitso.

Mbatha added: “I’m thrilled to be here and can’t wait to start playing. I see this as a golden opportunity and intend to make the most of it.”

Meanwhile, forward Eva Nga has exited Pirates and Tshegofatso Mabasa rejoined.

“The club can confirm it has reached a mutual agreement for the departure of Eva Nga. Nga leaves after a stint of one and a half seasons with the team. We extend our heartfelt thanks to him for his contributions and wish him the best in his future endeavours,” read a statement from Pirates.

“As we bid farewell to Nga, we welcome back a familiar face in Tshegofatso Mabasa, who rejoins the club after his loan spell at Moroka Swallows came to an end.”

Pirates currently occupy fifth position on the 2023-24 Premier Soccer League points table.
