With the pool stages of Rugby’s Challenge Cup now complete, South African outfits the Sharks, Lions and Cheetahs now know who they will be facing in the tournaments knock-out stages.

The Sharks have secured themselves a home game in the round of 16 while the other two sides will be forced to travel for their round of 16 encounters.

The Sharks had a successful weekend with a comfortable 29-9 victory over the Dragons in Wales. The Lions looked to have things locked-up against visiting Ospreys, only to see their guests run in three tries in eight minutes as they snatched a 38-28 away victory.

The round of 16 matches, which are scheduled to be played in early April, will see the Lions travel to Benetton in Italy. The Cheetahs go to Clermont in France while the Sharks will face French outfit Castres in Durban.
