This season’s Nedbank Cup Round of 32 fixtures were confirmed on Thursday with Mamelodi Sundowns set to clash with La Masia, while Kaizer Chiefs will face off against the Milford FC.

AmaZulu is gearing up for a KZN Derby showdown with Royal AM, and SuperSport United is set to lock horns with Cape Town City.

Reigning champions Orlando Pirates’ opposition have not been confirmed yet.

The excitement doesn’t stop at the field; the Nedbank Cup is set to offer fans unique opportunities to engage with the tournament. In a groundbreaking move, the organizers announced a generous reward for the passionate supporters of the winning team.

“This year the fans of the team that is going to get their share of R5 million,” read a statement from the Nedbank Cup.

“At the end of the Nedbank Cup, 25 fans will each get R200,000 and to do that you have to open a Nedbank account and take part in the activities per round.

“Also what’s really nice we’re going to take eight small businesses that bank with Nedbank and we’re going to put them on teh jerseys of the teams, so that we can market South African small businesses.

“We really want it to be a cup for the people.”
