As speculation surrounds the potential departure of Khuliso Mudau from Mamelodi Sundowns amid links with Burnley, Rhulani Mokwena has issued a resolute ‘hands off’ warning.

Mudau has been linked with a move to the relegation-threatened Premier League side after his good run in the DStv Premiership and African Football League.

His recent performances earned him a place in the last Bafana Bafana squad, but Mokwena has cautioned against entertaining transfer speculation.

“I can’t entertain it (exit talks) at the moment because it’s just talks, there is nothing on the table,” Rhulani Mokwena told reporters after their match with SuperSport United.
“But he is an unbelievable player. He’s an incredible human being, kind-hearted, and very important to our team.
“So it’s difficult to entertain such talks because it’s just talks and there’s nothing concrete,” the Sundowns head coach continued.

“And if I answer it as Sundowns coach, I would say hands off. It’s the same way you go to Manchester City and you ask for Kyle Walker. It’s very difficult.”
The last PSL player signed by a Premier League club was Percy Tau back in 2018.
